A complaint from the letter

A Complaint Letter






Dear Milan
This is your old friend Desk , now you need to start using me or I will break I’ve had enough with you putting you clean clothes on me.


Plus it is really painful how you never ever use me for your work, why can’t you be excited to just use me  you adopted me  and  you need to  keep your promise that you will use me, I know that you are busy and you always try to keep me clean but it is a waste of time.Plus you always leave stuff on me.


Alright there is one more thing that you need to know is that sometimes  the things that are on me are so painful and that they are really hurting me with the sharp stuff on them. So I hope that everything sounds clear to you and that you will do the things I asked.

Nature experiment


Nature experiment

You will need/equipment:
  • One large metal bowl
  • Glad wrap
  • A little bowl
  • Something light
  • Hot boiling water/salt

  1. Pour the boiling water inside the large bowl.
  2. Put some salt inside the large bowl.
  3. Put the small bowl inside the big bowl with the water.
  4. Take your glad wrap and put it on top.
  5. Put the weight that you have chose and put it on top of the glad wrap.
  6. You wait for 30 mins for the cycle to work.

Observation:

Water evaporates under the glad wrap and then the water runs down the centre of the bowl and drops. If you did put in salt you can see that the salt got left on the bottom. It goes on and on until the water cools, and that is the experiment.

How to play Mouthful

How to play Mouthful
The game that I am going to introduce and teach is Mouthful.I chose this because it was my first time using this and telling about it.
Plus it was really fun  to play with friends and family.

  1. To start this boardgame is to pick who’s in which team, all of you’ve must have a mouth guard. When you’ve known that everyone one has a mouth guard, one team must go first, they have to read the phrases that's on the cards.
  2. There is a timer with the game so you must turn it around You will have all the cards, there will be one person in your team that will have the mouthguard on and they will be reading. The other team mates are going to guess what the reader is saying.
  3. When the timer runs out the team has to count how much they have got, all the teams mates take turns and so on for the next team.
  4. After everyone has had a turn you count how much you have. When you have counted your cards every time you have finished reading them you wait till the next team have done counted theres.
  5. The team that has the most cards is the winner.

How to WIN:
As on the Intructions on top you have to read the phrases really quick and and quess it quick then count how much you have, the one that has the most cards win.

Rules:
-You can not tell the what it is.
-You can not take the mouth thing off to tell them.

Learning Styles

Learning Styles

Rimu class has been doing this assessment thing called Learning Styles. You might wonder what it is well it is a test that will ask you things that you would do to help you do your work. What you do is you tick the ones that are more like you, the ones that are not like you is to not tick them you could do much of ticks as you want.
In this site Miss Waho has gave us this self assessment thing where we have the most strongest thing. Here is a photo of my results.
 Here is the results as you can see that my strongest one is the Intrapersonal, if you do not know what it means well here is a screenshot of what it means.

Port Hills FIRE!!

Port Hills FIRE!!

In literacy Rimu has been doing a recount of the Port Hills fire, Miss Morgan has been looking at Rimu work for writing and looking at what they have done.
So the meaning of doing this recount is entertainment and put down how they felt about the fire and how other people felt.
Okay before you look at what I have done I am going to ask you some questions about the recount!
1. Did it entertain you?
2. Did it give you how I felt in the recount?
3. And did it give you the purpose of this writing?

Now here is the recount
I saw the first fire was when I was at home it got me afraid about everyone. The blazing fire was soo scary it was the most terrifying thing in the world,  I was at my nans and watching the news we heard the news that Port Hills was on fire, I went outside and saw the blazing fire it was so dark and black I couldn’t see the Port Hills.

The fire was really scary ,when it was  morning I was still asleep. I finally woke up and my brother was right in my face yelling that he saw the fire. My grandparents called us in the afternoon and asked us if we saw the fire.

I felt soo bad for the people that lived up on Port Hill, I wonder how they felt when they got evacuated. I hoped that there wasn’t any kids that lived in one of the Port Hills houses. I bet the ones that live on Port Hills  was afraid if their house got burnt down and that the blazing fire comes closer.
