Inspired writing

In writing with Mr Scott we had to do inspired writing. Inspired writing is when you look at a picture and write what you see in the picture. We had 5 choices of a topic. They were Space, Animals, Apocalyptic, Fantasy and Our world. Each of the topics had several pictures and we got to choose them and then write about them. We had a certain way on what to write, we had to write 6 sentences about the picture but we had certain Vocabs. So here was what we had to write:

1. Write a simple sentence that describes something about the picture.
2. Add adjectives to the simple sentence, to add more detail.
3. Add more language features like similes or metaphors to enhance the sentence.
4. Use topic words directly related to the picture.
5. Use emotive language to create/clarify mood.
6. Paint a clear picture in the mind of my readers and give the reader detailed and specific information.

So here was the order then we had to do like order. I chose to do Apocalyptic because the photos looked interesting. So here are my sentences on my story and my picture:

1. An abandoned city.
