Solar Energy

Aim: To learn about how solar energy is used.

Hypothesis: I think that black will stand out the most.  The explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.

Materials:

1.  Heat lamp
2.  Thermotre
3.  3 cups (2 white cups and clear cup)
4.  Black plastic bag
5.  Paper (white)
6. Tinfoil (2 pieces)

Steps

1.   Grab the heat lamp and plug it in
2.  Put the black plastic bag, white paper and tinfoil and lay them out into a line
3.  Put the white cup on the white paper, wrap the tinfoil around the white cup put on top of the tinfoil  and then put the clear cup in the black bag on top of the black bag
4.  Put the heat lamp directly at the cups
5.   After every 15 min put the thermometer in each cups, have them in for 1 min each 
6. Then record them on the chart
