For one of our classes we have Digital change, in digital change 7/8 Mt and Ts have been working on their social issue. My social issue is animal abuse. For our social issue you would choose between app or game I chose app. With the app that you will soon see I had went on code.org and made an app there. I had to watch a video on how to make an app and then I went on working. The reason why I chose animal abuse was because I love animal and I've always wanted a pet.
When I go to the pet shop I know most of these animals have been saved from their old owners who had neglected them, hit them and all the horrible things. So I wanted to make an app about how you can stop animal abuse. The most hardest part was the coding, cause I would have to debug the coding so I could get it right. What I've learned was that people who make apps and games work really hard on it and spends a lot of time trying to correct the coding, so I've learned that it is hard to make an app and a game.
So now we are up to app time, hope you enjoy:

My own game
For hurumanu 7/8 Mt and Ts have worked together and made their own games individually. My game was double bounce, it is like hand ball but with some different rules ( I think ). So today we went in groups of 4 and played each other games. Once we learned each others games we chose what game to teach. So the game me and my group chose was double bounce of course. So here is the rules of the game so you can play at home:

Tāne Māhuta
Today for Tāne Māhuta we planned for our garden and then we had to use egg holders for our vege garden. We put soil in our egg holders and we sorted where to put our veges. After that we put our little vege garden outside. Now its time for photos.

In maths we had to learn what integers are and how to do it. If you don't know what integers means it means it is not a fraction but it is a whole number it can be a negative, positive or a zero number. For our work we had to do this:
It was super easy but most of the work was a little bit hard. I still got it finished and I'm proud of what I've done.

Tāne Māhuta
Today for Tāne Māhuta we had to start making the plum jam and plum sauce so the teachers choose who to help to make them and the rest went to write what seeds to use for the garden in winter. I was in boxing for this so I had just done them. So here are the seeds.
Now the reason why I want to help personally is because i'm the 3rd generation to be at this school and the 2nd and 1st generation said the school was amazing and clean so I wanted it to be the same to me. I've worked super hard to make this school beautiful again.
Anyways today I dont have any photos or video for the slide.

Tāne Māhuta
Today for Tāne Māhuta we had an idea that we should use the plums form the orchid and use them to make jam and maybe sauce so we can sell them. The reason why we're making jam for money is so we can buy fruit and vege seeds, tools and other stuff to make the school garden clean and beautiful. First we picked the plums, picked up some rubbish and then grab all the bark and dirt and move them to the compost area. So now here is the photos from last week and the ones from today.
