Today in science we have been learning about the water cycle and how they all connect with climate change. We got given a yellow paper that had hexagons on them, they also had labels. What we had to do was look at the words and try to connect it with the other ones, then we had to explain to the teacher how they connect with each other and why we thought of that.
Scientific words:
Evaporation- is when the water turns into a gas and floats up into the air.
Transpiration- is the same thing as evaporation but from plants.
Precipitation- is when water comes down from the sky (rain, hail, snow)
Acid rain- is when chemicals Evaporate, condensate and precipitate
Carbon dioxide -is what brings life into trees which brings oxygen into the air
Water cycle- is when water/plants evaporate, condensate and precipitate (with water)
Water vapour- when a liquid turns into a gas that helps evaporate through the air
Condensation- when water comes together building pressure and turns into clouds
Hurricanes- is a storm with a violent rain
Climate change- when the weather changes from its normal passions
